Harlem River Ramp between 2nd Avenue Southbound and 2nd Avenue Northbound

This ramp will be closed from 7 am to 11 pm Monday to Friday through 5/15/25 for installation of the new 13kv feeders across Harlem River.

Riverside Drive between West 152nd Street and West 153rd Street

This street will be closed 24/7 through 5/31/25 for NYCDOT contract HBM1165 rehab Riverside Drive viaduct over West 158th Street, Manhattan (safety reasons).

FDR Drive between Montgomery Street and East 15 Street

Single-lane northbound and/or southbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Saturday from 12:01 am to 9 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 11 am. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate median reconstruction and will continue through August 15, 2026.

FDR Drive Southbound between Jackson Street and Cherry Street

Single-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Sunday from 11 pm to 10 am next morning. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate East Side Coastal Resiliency Project and will continue through September 11, 2026.

FDR Drive Service Road between East 61st Street and East 62nd Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday through 5/4/25 for use of knuckle boom for deliveries, hoist removal and C-channel installation.

Battery Park Underpass between FDR Drive and Route 9A/West Street

Periodically the northbound and/or southbound tube will be fully closed nightly between 11 pm and 4 am, as permitted by NYCDOT Bridges for tunnel maintenance and repairs through June 30, 2025.

Nassau Street between Pine Street and Cedar Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm Friday, 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 5/27/25 for reconstruction of Nassau Street.

149 Place Bridge over LIRR Murray Hill Station

Bridge underdeck repair and substructure will take place Monday to Friday from 9:30 pm to 5:30 am Monday to Friday and 11:30 pm to 7:30 am Saturday and Sunday through May 31, 2025. Half of the roadway and portion of its adjacent sidewalk will be closed on 149 Place between 41 Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue. Barton Avenue will remain accessible and northbound traffic will be maintained. Southbound traffic will be redirected at Roosevelt Avenue to either 149 or 150 Streets.

Single-lane westbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 6 am next morning, Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and from 10 pm to 3 pm next day. Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate Safety and Mobility Improvements and will continue through April 23, 2026.

Grand Central Parkway Eastbound between Roosevelt Avenue and 54 Avenue

Eastbound mainline will be closed for 15 minutes at a time, Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am through April 23, 2026, to facilitate sign structure removal and installation. Mainline shoulder lane will be closed 24/7 along the project limit to replace sections with traversable curbs and guiderail.

Hillside Avenue Bridge over Cross Island Parkway

Single-lane closure in either direction will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday 8 am to 6 pm, Sunday 9 am to 6 pm, and double lane closures will occur from 10 am to 2 pm. These closures are to facilitate reduction of underdeck repairs and will continue through May 3, 2025.

Cross Bay Boulevard Bridge between North Conduit and South Conduit Avenue

Beginning Wednesday March 26, 2025 for approximately 6 weeks, there will be a single and double lanes closure on both North Conduit (between 114th Place and Cross Bay Boulevard) and South Conduit Avenue (between Gemini Fields near 79th Street and continuing on Nassau Expressway to Cross Bay Boulevard, on weekdays from 9 pm to 6 am and on weekends from 9 pm to 7 am. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times. Additionally, the staging area on North Conduit Avenue (on local road, west of Cross Bay Boulevard) remains in place. The left lane is closed, and North Conduit Avenue is limited to one travel lane at this location. This work is being done to continue lead paint removal and protective coating operations.

Nassau Expressway between Cross Bay Boulevard Entrance Ramp and Exit 2N

Single-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm and 9 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning, and Saturday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning. Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 12:01 am to 7 am. Eastbound Exit Ramp 2S will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Saturday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate JFK Redevelopment Program and will continue through December 31, 2025.

Northbound Van Wyck Expressway Ramp to Eastbound Belt Parkway

There will be a long-term ramp closure (Exit 1A) from northbound Van Wyck Expressway to Eastbound Belt Parkway from 10 am Monday March 10 to 6 am Friday August 22, 2025. Motorists travelling from the northbound Van Wyck Expressway, will need to utilize Nassau Expressway to access the eastbound Belt Parkway. Once motorists merge onto Nassau Expressway, they should follow the signage to southbound JFK Expressway, then take exit 2N to access eastbound Belt Parkway. This closure is necessary to facilitate bridge replacement as part of NYCDOT’s Van Wyck Expressway capacity and access improvements project (contract 3).

Van Wyck Expressway

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 6 am, Friday from 11:59 pm to 8 am, Saturday from 11 pm to 10 am, and Sunday from 10 pm to 6 am. Double-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 4 am and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. Double-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am for northbound and from 11 pm to 5 am for southbound. The exit and entrance ramps along the north and southbound of the expressway may also be closed. These closures are necessary to facilitate roadway widening and will continue through July 14, 2025.

Rockaway Freeway Eastbound between Beach 59th Street and Beach 56th Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 5/18/25 for concrete restoration on the track of the Rockaway viaduct line.

Rockaway Freeway Westbound between Beach 108th Street and Seaside Avenue
