This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 1/19/25 to facilitate crane operation.

West 225 Street between Terrace View Avenue and Adrian Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 1/31/25 for Con Ed vault installation.

Adrian Avenue between West 225 Street and West 227 Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 1/31/25 for Con Ed vault installation.

FDR Drive Southbound in the vicinity of East 14 Street

Single-lane will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 5:30 am next morning, Saturday from 12:01 am to 7 am next morning, and Sunday from 1 am to 11 am. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 2 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 7 am. Southbound on-ramp at Avenue C, in the vicinity of East 18 Street, will also be closed during the double-lane closure. These closures are necessary to facilitate repairs to the east building facade and will continue through January 15, 2025.

FDR Drive between Montgomery Street and East 15 Street

Single-lane northbound and/or southbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Saturday from 12:01 am to 9 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 11 am. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate median reconstruction and will continue through August 15, 2026.

FDR Drive Southbound between Jackson Street and Cherry Street

Single-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Sunday from 11 pm to 10 am next morning. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate East Side Coastal Resiliency Project and will continue through September 11, 2026.

Battery Park Underpass between FDR Drive and Route 9A/West Street

Periodically the northbound and/or southbound tube will be fully closed nightly between 11 pm and 4 am, as permitted by NYCDOT Bridges for tunnel maintenance and repairs through June 30, 2025.

Riverside Drive (Northbound Service Road) between West 152nd Street and West 153rd Street

This street will be closed 24/7 through 1/31/25 for NYCDOT contract HBM 1165 rehab.

Wooster Street between Grand Street and Broome Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 1/24/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Intersection between Gold Street and Platt Street

This street will be closed from 10 pm Friday to 5 am Monday through 1/27/25 for associated closure.

Jane Street between Joe DiMaggio Highway and Washington Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm Friday through 2/6/25 for booming and pumping operations for new building construction.

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 1/21/25 for conduit installation for new service.

Manhattan/Queens

Ed Koch/Queensboro Bridge

Single-lane Queens-bound south upper roadway will be closed 24/7. Double-lane Queens-bound south upper roadway will be closed Saturday from 12 am to 5 am and from 8 pm to 5 am next morning, and Monday and Friday from 9:30 am to 3 pm. Queens-bound south outer roadway will be closed Sunday to Saturday from 11 pm to 6 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate replacement of upper roadway.

Williamsburg Bridge

Single-lane Manhattan-bound Inner and outer roadways will be closed from 10 am to 3 pm Monday January 20, 2025, to Friday January 24, 2025. Single lane Brooklyn-bound outer roadway will be closed from 10 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday, the inner roadway Brooklyn-bound will be closed from 5 am to 5 pm. On Thursday January 23 and Friday January 24 from 10 pm to 5 am a rolling closure will occur. These closures are necessary to facilitate rehabilitation of the Williamsburg Bridge. At least one lane in each direction will be available at all times.

Manhattan/Bronx

Broadway Bridge over the Harlem River

The right travel lane in both directions will be closed Monday January 13 to Friday January 24, 2025, from 7 am to 3 pm and alternating center lane in either direction (but not at the same time) will be closed from 10 am to 2 pm, alternating sidewalk closures will be in effect. Lanes will reopen after 3 pm. These closures are to perform NYCDOT wire rope cable and under deck shield replacement on the Broadway Bridge.

Madison Avenue Bridge over Harlem River

The bridge will be closed intermittently for 15 minutes at a time Monday January 13th to Friday February 14th, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm to conduct testing of the Madison Avenue Bridge.

Bronx

East 153rd Street between Elton Avenue and Melrose Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 1/18/25 to place crane to erect new building.

East 178th Street between Anthony Avenue and Ryer Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 2/18/25 for boom deliveries.

East 184th Street between Webster Avenue and Park Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 2/18/25 to facilitate crane operation.

This street will be closed from 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday through 1/31/25 for concrete pouring and booming to erect new building.

Mohegan Avenue between Hornaday Place and Bronx Park South

This street will be closed from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 6 pm Saturday through 1/31/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Grand Concourse Bridge over Metro-North Railroad - Hudson Line between 151 Street and 153 Street

Northbound lanes will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm and from 9 pm to 5:30 am the next morning, through January 31, 2025, to facilitate structural steel repairs and utility work. Two lanes of traffic in each direction will be maintained.

Major Deegan Expressway (northbound) between Exit 3 and Entrance ramp north of East 138 Street

Right-lane will become an exit only lane at Exit 3 24/7. Additional lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am, Saturday and Sunday from 1 am to 8 am, and Sunday night from 10 pm to 5 am next morning through March 3, 2025, to facilitate East 138 Street Bridge replacement. Full closure may occur Monday to Friday between 12 am and 5 am for demolition and erection of the superstructure.

Major Deegan Expressway (southbound) between Exit 3 and Entrance ramp south of East 138 Street

Right-lane will become an exit only lane at Exit 3 24/7. Additional lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am, Saturday and Sunday from 1 am to 8 am, and Sunday night from 10 pm to 5 am next morning through March 3, 2025, to facilitate East 138 Street Bridge replacement. Southbound exit ramp to 138 Street bridge will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am, Friday from 11 pm to 6 am next morning, Saturday from 11 pm to 9 am next morning, and Sunday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning to facilitate water main connections.

Shore Road Bridge over the Hutchinson River

Single-lane northbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 am to 9 am. Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and 10 pm to 7 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate maintenance and will continue through January 24th, 2025. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. No closures on Monday January 20th, 2025, due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Creston Street between East 196th Street and East Kingsbridge Road

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 1/24/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Brooklyn/Queens

Metropolitan Avenue Bridge over English Kills

A Single lane closure in either Brooklyn-bound or Queens bound direction on or about Saturday January 11th, 2025 from 7 am to 2 pm. These closures are to conduct maintenance to the Metropolitan Avenue over English Kills. The eastbound bike lane will be closed. The westbound bike lane will not be affected. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained with assistance of flaggers.

Greenpoint Avenue Bridge over Newton Creek

The right lane of traffic on the east-bound side will be closed from 11 pm to 5 am Wednesday January 15th to Friday January 31st, 2025. During construction, the bike lanes will be open in both directions. One way traffic will be maintained at all times. This work is to facilitate NYCDOT-Bridges to conduct streetlight repairs.

Grand Street Bridge over Newtown Creek

This bridge will be fully closed to traffic from 11 pm to 5 am Monday January 13 to Friday January 17, 2025 and Saturday January 18, 2025 from 7 am to 3 pm. Metropolitan Avenue may be used as an alternate route. The closures are necessary to facilitate NYCDOT-Bridges to conduct urgent repairs.

Queens

24th Street between 41st Avenue and Queens Plaza North

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 2/20/25 for boom, knuckle boom and concrete pump to work on new building.

78 Avenue between Austin Street and Kew Forest Lane

This street will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday when school is in session, and from 9 am to 4 pm Friday during school recess through 2/1/25 for concrete pump, material delivery, boom operations.

94th Avenue between Sutphin Boulevard and 148th Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday, and/or Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm through 2/28/25 to facilitate crane operation.

126th Street between 34 Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue

This street will be closed 24/7 through 3/31/25 to install NYCDEP sewer and watermain.

130 Avenue Bridge over Belt Parkway

Single-lane north side lane and north sidewalk will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. These closures are to facilitate bridge rehabilitation and will continue through February 8, 2025. One lane in each direction will be maintained.

149 Place Bridge over LIRR Murray Hill Station

Bridge underdeck repair and substructure will take place Monday to Friday from 9:30 pm to 5:30 am Monday to Friday and 11:30 pm to 7:30 am Saturday and Sunday through February 8, 2025. Half of the roadway and portion of its adjacent sidewalk will be closed on 149 Place between 41 Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue. Barton Avenue will remain accessible and northbound traffic will be maintained. Southbound traffic will be redirected at Roosevelt Avenue to either 149 or 150 Streets.

182nd Place between LIRR Tracks and 93rd Avenue

This street will be closed from 10 pm to 5 am nightly through 1/31/25 for use of mobile crane to pick steel and staircases for LIRR.

Newtown Avenue between 31st Street and 32nd Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 3/23/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Aberdeen Road between Kent Street and Chevy Chase Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 2/13/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Augustina Avenue between Nameoke Avenue and Wheatley Avenue

Penrod Street between 108th Street and Horace Harding Expressway

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday through 3/31/25 for DEP contract PS-277 108th Street pump station reconstruction.

Belt Parkway between Exit 21B and Exit 20

Single-lane westbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm and 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 6 am next morning, and Saturday from 10 pm to 11 am next morning. Double-lane westbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 9 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate JFK Redevelopment Program and will continue through December 31, 2025.

Francis Lewis Boulevard Bridge over Belt Parkway

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm through January 31, 2025, to facilitate bridge rehabilitation. West sidewalk will remain closed as construction continues. Eastside sidewalk access will be maintained.

Grand Central Parkway at Long Island Expressway Interchange

Single-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning, Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and from 10 pm to 3 pm next day. Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am. Single-lane westbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 6 am next morning, Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and from 10 pm to 3 pm next day. Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate Safety and Mobility Improvements and will continue through April 23, 2026.

Grand Central Parkway Eastbound between Roosevelt Avenue and 54 Avenue

Eastbound mainline will be closed for 15 minutes at a time, Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am through April 23, 2026, to facilitate sign structure removal and installation. Mainline shoulder lane will be closed 24/7 along the project limit to replace sections with traversable curbs and guiderail.

Grand Central Parkway Eastbound CD Road at Exit 10 between Westbound Long Island Expressway Entrance Ramp and Eastbound Grand Central Parkway Exit 10E Ramp

Single-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning, Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and from 10 pm to 3 pm next day. These closures are part of the Safety and Mobility Improvements and will continue through March 31, 2025.

Hillside Avenue Bridge over Cross Island Parkway

Single-lane closure in either direction will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday 8 am to 6 pm, Sunday 9 am to 6 pm, and double lane closures will occur from 10 am to 2 pm. These closures are to facilitate reduction of underdeck repairs and will continue through February 8, 2025.

Nassau Expressway between Cross Bay Boulevard Entrance Ramp and Exit 2N

Single-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm and 9 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning, and Saturday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning. Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 12:01 am to 7 am. Eastbound Exit Ramp 2S will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Saturday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate JFK Redevelopment Program and will continue through December 31, 2025.

Van Wyck Expressway

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 6 am, Friday from 11:59 pm to 8 am, Saturday from 11 pm to 10 am, and Sunday from 10 pm to 6 am. Double-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 4 am and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. Double-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am for northbound and from 11 pm to 5 am for southbound. The exit and entrance ramps along the north and southbound of the expressway may also be closed. These closures are necessary to facilitate roadway widening and will continue through July 14, 2025.

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 3/21/25 for MTA contract A-37758 package 5 ADA upgrades/elevator replacement.

Rockaway Freeway Westbound between Beach 104th Street and Seaside Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 3/21/25 for MTA contract A-37758 package 5 ADA upgrades/elevator replacement.
