The times listed for closures for street fairs are for the actual times of the street fairs themselves. The streets may be closed for longer to allow for set-up and breakdown. Street fair organizers are generally permitted to begin set-up at 8 am and breakdown must be completed by 7 pm.

Manhattan

East 10th Street between 5th Avenue and University Place

This street will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday through 7/14/25 for use of knuckle boom for lifting/hoisting.

West 11th Street between Washington Street and Greenwich Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday through 7/31/25 to facilitate crane operation.

West 16th Street between 8th Avenue and 9th Avenue

This street will be closed from 6 am to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday through 7/27/25 to facilitate crane operation.

This street will be closed from 6 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday through 7/20/25 to facilitate crane operation.

This street will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday through 7/18/25 to excavate and install conduit and vault for new major service.

Claremont Avenue between West 119th Street and West 116th Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 8/3/25 to excavate and install conduit and manhole enlargement for new major service.

This street will be closed from 9 pm to 5 am weeknights through 7/14/25 to erect the gantries for the Park Avenue viaduct.

This street will be closed from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday through 7/21/25 for special operations-pour concrete and rebar deliveries.

Ann Street between Park Row and Theatre Alley

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday, and 10 am to 10 pm Saturday and Sunday through 8/5/25 for catch basin repair/replacement.

Thompson Street between 6th Avenue and Grand Street

This street will be closed 24/7 through 7/5/25 for sewer relocation work and drilling.

Thompson Street between West Houston Street and Bleecker Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/25/25 for painting mural.

Franklin Street between Franklin Place and Broadway

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/27/25 for building inspection from boom truck.

Broadway between West 32 Street and West 31 Street

This street will be closed from 7 pm to 3 am weeknights through 7/25/25 for installation of conduit system for reinforcement.

Nassau Street between Pine Street and Cedar Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 7/28/25 for reconstruction of Nassau Street.

Rivington Street between Attorney Street and Ridge Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 8/10/25 for installation of new service.

Rivington Street between Clinton Street and Attorney Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 8/10/25 for installation of new service.

Attorney Street between Rivington Street and Delancey Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 8/10/25 for installation of new service.

Harlem River Ramp between 2nd Avenue Southbound (2nd Avenue) and 2nd Avenue Northbound (Harlem River Drive)

This ramp will be closed from 7 am to11pm Monday to Friday through 7/19/25 for installation of new 13k feeder across Harlem River.

Riverside Drive (Northbound Service Road) between West 152nd Street and West 153rd Street

This street will be closed 24/7 through 8/5/25 for NYCDOT contract HBM1165 Rehab.

FDR Drive between Montgomery Street and East 15 Street

Single-lane northbound and/or southbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Saturday from 12:01 am to 9 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 11 am. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate median reconstruction and will continue through August 15, 2026.

FDR Drive Southbound between Jackson Street and Cherry Street

Single-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Sunday from 11 pm to 10 am next morning. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate East Side Coastal Resiliency Project and will continue through September 11, 2026.

Route 9A/West Street (between W 27th and W 33rd Streets)

Northbound Route 9A will be reduced from four to three lanes Monday nights through Friday mornings 9 pm to 5 am and between 9 am and 3 pm, Saturdays 12:01 am to 10 am, Sunday 12:01 am to 1 pm, and from four to two lanes weeknights 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturdays 1 am – 8 am, and Sundays 2 am to 10 am. Southbound Route 9A will be reduced from three to two lanes Monday nights to Friday mornings 9 pm to 5 am, Saturdays 12:01 am to 9 am, Sundays 12:01 am to 10 am, and from three lanes to one lane weeknights 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturdays 1 am to 6 am, and Sundays 2 am to 8 am. These closures will be ongoing through June 20 by the Port Authority to facilitate construction of the Gateway Trans-Hudson Tunnel.

Battery Park Underpass between FDR Drive and Route 9A/West Street

Periodically the northbound and/or southbound tube will be fully closed nightly between 11 pm and 4 am, as permitted by NYCDOT Bridges for tunnel maintenance and repairs through December 31, 2025.

Southbound Henry Hudson Parkway (HHP) Exit Ramp to West 79th Street (Exit #10)

The exit ramp will be fully closed around-the-clock from Saturday, June 29 through Monday, August 25 to facilitate the reconstruction of the Rotunda Complex traffic interchange by NYCDOT-Bridges.

Debrosses Street between West Street and Washington Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/25/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Jane Street between Joe DiMaggio Highway and Washington Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday through 7/26/25 for booming and pumping operations for new building construction.

Jane Street between Hudson Street and Greenwich Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/18/25 for use of knuckle boom placement for deliveries.

Times Square Summer Fair

The following streets will be closed for the Times Square Summer Fair on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at the discretion of the NYPD in Manhattan.

Manhattan/Bronx

Broadway Bridge over the Harlem River

A single lane will be closed from 7 am to 3 pm, through Thursday July 3, 2025, and a double-lane closed from 10 am to 2 pm. These closures are in addition to the current Manhattan-bound right lane and adjacent sidewalk closures. At least one lane of traffic and the North-bound sidewalk will remain open at all times. These closures are to perform NYCDOT Bridges electrical work and machinery repairs on the Broadway Bridge.


Bronx

Shore Road Bridge over the Hutchinson River

Single-lane northbound and/or southbound will be closed Monday June 30th, 2025, to Friday July 25th, 2025, from 7 am to 9 am. Single-lane in the northbound direction will be closed, and a single lane northbound and southbound direction will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and weeknights northbound and southbound from 10 pm to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate routine maintenance, structure and under-deck repairs. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

East 183rd Street between Grand Concourse and Ryer Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 6 pm through 7/6/25 to facilitate crane operation.

East 184th Street between Webster Avenue and Park Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday through 7/17/25 to facilitate crane operation.

West 262nd Street between Huxley Street and Broadway

This street will be closed from 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday through 7/31/25 for use of concrete pumps, boom trucks and knuckle booms.

Grant Avenue between East 169th Street between 170th Street

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through 8/12/25 for construction of Grant Park (contract X271-119M).

Creston Avenue between East 196th Street and East Kingsbridge Road

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/26/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Valentine Avenue between Bedford Park Boulevard and East 201st Street

This street will be closed 9 am to 5 pm two weekdays or one weekday from 8 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm through 7/31/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Mount Hope Place between Morris Avenue and Grand Concourse

This street will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday through 7/23/25 for booming and pouring concrete.

Cedar Avenue between West Fordham Road and West 179th Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/25/25 for sewer construction work.

Blondell Avenue between Fink Avenue and Ponton Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/17/25 to facilitate crane operation.

Ponton Avenue between Blondell Avenue and Dead End

Brooklyn

Williamsburg Bridge

Brooklyn-bound Outer Roadway one lane closed 24/7 from 10 am to 3 pm Monday June 30, to July 7th, 2025. Single lane rolling closure (one lane at a time) from 7 am to 10 am and Monday from 10 pm to 5 am. One lane closed Manhattan-bound Inner or Outer Roadway from 10 am to 3 pm June 30 to July 7th, 2025. These closures are necessary for the continued rehabilitation of Williamsburg Bridge. At least one lane in each direction will be available at all times.

Roosevelt Island Bridge

One lane Brooklyn-bound (eastbound) and one lane Roosevelt Island bound (westbound) will be closed from 1 am to 5 am Monday May 12, 2025, to Friday July 25, 2025, for urgent repairs as permitted by NYSDOT.

South 3rd Street between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/11/25 to install new 2’ domestic water service and relay existing 6’ storm.

South 6th Street between Bedford Avenue and Berry Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/27/25 for associated closure.

South 6th Street between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/27/25 for concrete structure and delivery.

North 10th Street between Bedford Avenue and Driggs Avenue

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 8/31/25 to facilitate crane operation.

130 Avenue Bridge over Belt Parkway

The bridge will be closed Sunday to Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. The north sidewalk of the bridge will continue to be closed; pedestrians may use the south sidewalk. One lane in each direction will be maintained. These closures are to facilitate rehabilitation work through July 26, 2025.

130th Avenue Bridge over Laurelton Parkway

Starting Sunday June 29 to Saturday July 26, 2025, the north sidewalk of the bridge will continue to be closed. will be alternating single lane closures in either direction on the parkway from 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm Sunday. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. This work is necessary for continued rehabilitation work.

Belt Parkway between Exit 21B and Exit 20

Single-lane westbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm and 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 6 am next morning, and Saturday from 10 pm to 11 am next morning. Double-lane westbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 9 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate JFK Redevelopment Program and will continue through December 31, 2025.

Grand Central Parkway at Long Island Expressway Interchange

Single-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning, Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and from 10 pm to 3 pm next day. Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am. Single-lane westbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 6 am next morning, Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and from 10 pm to 3 pm next day. Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate Safety and Mobility Improvements and will continue through April 23, 2026.

Grand Central Parkway Eastbound between Roosevelt Avenue and 54 Avenue

Eastbound mainline will be closed for 15 minutes at a time, Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am through April 23, 2026, to facilitate sign structure removal and installation. Mainline shoulder lane will be closed 24/7 along the project limit to replace sections with traversable curbs and guiderail.

Hillside Avenue Bridge over Cross Island Parkway

Single-lane and double-lanes will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm, 10 am to 2 pm (double-lane closures), Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. These closures are to facilitate rehabilitation and underdeck repairs and will continue through July 26, 2025.

Cross Bay Boulevard Bridge between North Conduit and South Conduit Avenue

Beginning Wednesday March 26, 2025 for approximately 6 weeks, there will be a single and double lanes closure on both North Conduit (between 114th Place and Cross Bay Boulevard) and South Conduit Avenue (between Gemini Fields near 79th Street and continuing on Nassau Expressway to Cross Bay Boulevard, on weekdays from 9 pm to 6 am and on weekends from 9 pm to 7 am. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times. Additionally, the staging area on North Conduit Avenue (on local road, west of Cross Bay Boulevard) remains in place. The left lane is closed, and North Conduit Avenue is limited to one travel lane at this location. This work is being done to continue lead paint removal and protective coating operations.

Springfield Boulevard Bridge over Belt Southern Parkway between North Conduit Avenue and South Conduit Avenue

Single-lane and double-lanes on the Belt Parkway will be closed Monday, 10 pm to 5 am (single-lane closure) and 1 am to 5 am (double-lane closure) through Friday August 1, 2025, for the continued rehabilitation of the eastern sidewalk of the Springfield Boulevard Bridge. One lane in each direction will be maintained, and turning movements will not be affected. One sidewalk will remain open for pedestrian access, and one crosswalk will be maintained at all times. Traffic lanes will return to its normal configuration after work hours.

Nassau Expressway between Cross Bay Boulevard Entrance Ramp and Exit 2N

Single-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm and 9 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning, and Saturday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning. Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 12:01 am to 7 am. Eastbound Exit Ramp 2S will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Saturday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate JFK Redevelopment Program and will continue through December 31, 2025.

Northbound Van Wyck Expressway Ramp to Eastbound Belt Parkway

There will be a long-term ramp closure (Exit 1A) from northbound Van Wyck Expressway to Eastbound Belt Parkway from 10 am Monday March 10 to 6 am Friday August 22, 2025. Motorists travelling from the northbound Van Wyck Expressway, will need to utilize Nassau Expressway to access the eastbound Belt Parkway. Once motorists merge onto Nassau Expressway, they should follow the signage to southbound JFK Expressway, then take exit 2N to access eastbound Belt Parkway. This closure is necessary to facilitate bridge replacement as part of NYCDOT’s Van Wyck Expressway capacity and access improvements project (contract 3).

Van Wyck Expressway

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 6 am, Friday from 11:59 pm to 8 am, Saturday from 11 pm to 10 am, and Sunday from 10 pm to 6 am. Double-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 4 am and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. Double-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am for northbound and from 11 pm to 5 am for southbound. The exit and entrance ramps along the north and southbound of the expressway may also be closed. These closures are necessary to facilitate roadway widening and will continue through July 14, 2025.

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/31/25 for installation of new sewer manhole and sewer pipe for NYCDEP project PS 295.

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday through 7/31/25 for installation of new sewer manhole and sewer pipe for NYCDEP project PS 295.

Front Street between Wave Street and Hannah Street

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 4 pm Saturday through 9/20/25 for new Stapleton Waterfront Infrastructure.
