NYC Summer Streets
Summer Streets is an annual celebration of New York City's most valuable public space – our streets.
This year Summer Streets returns with more streets than ever before! Celebrate New York City’s 400th anniversary by exploring over 400 blocks of car-free fun, fitness, and live entertainment as the city’s streets transform into playgrounds for all to enjoy.
On select Saturdays from 7am to 3pm, the usual traffic noise and honking horns will be replaced by open streets teeming with walkers, bikers, runners, and performers. Discover a wealth of free cultural programs, performances, fitness classes, interactive art, giveaways, and much more as you experience the city in a whole new way.
Summer Streets is a rain or shine event. Please follow NYC DOT on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) for updates on schedule changes during the event.
Free Citi Bike Day Passes sponsored by Lyft: Available on event days with promo code LYFTSUMMER25 on the Citi Bike App. While supplies last.
For additional information on street closures, no parking details, and street access during Summer Streets, please refer to the community flyers:

siggi's
siggi’s started in 2005 when Siggi Hilmarsson felt homesick for a staple of his childhood diet: skyr. It’s a thick, creamy, high-protein yogurt from Iceland. Disappointed by what he thought to be overly sweet and artificial-tasting yogurts available in the U.S., Siggi turned to his mother’s recipe and began making skyr in his small New York City kitchen. It tasted like home. Within a few months, Siggi quit his day job and launched siggi’s. True to Icelandic tradition, all siggi’s yogurts are crafted with less —free from artificial flavorings and sweeteners. We are dedicated to creating delicious yogurts and plant-based products that are high in protein, made from simple ingredients, and not a lot of sugar, always.
Stonyfield Organic
As the country’s leading organic yogurt maker, Stonyfield believes that taking care of organic cows, farmers, and their lives’ work will produce healthy food, healthy businesses, and a healthy planet. Stonyfield, a Certified B-Corp, is also making a difference by helping to protect and preserve the next generation of farmers and families through programs like its Direct Milk Supply Program and Wolfe’s Neck Organic Training Program as well as #PlayFree, a nationwide, multi-year initiative to help keep families free from toxic persistent pesticides in outdoor spaces across the country.

Coinciding with the One Year to Go from the FIFA World Cup 26™ announcement, the Host Committee officially launched the Skyline to Shoreline Road Tour™—a mobile fan experience that will travel across New York and New Jersey this summer. Featuring soccer zones, music, giveaways, and community storytelling, the tour will appear at festivals, parks, and neighborhood events through Labor Day 2025.
Each stop is designed to reflect the spirit of the local community. The tour is the first wave of a summer-long celebration that also includes bold visual takeovers across the region.

siggi's
siggi’s started in 2005 when Siggi Hilmarsson felt homesick for a staple of his childhood diet: skyr.

Yerba Madre
Yerba Madre will be sharing complimentary yerba mate canned beverages! Regenerative organic mate is at the heart of our products and our business model. The beverage is an infusion of leaves and stems from a South American Holly tree, naturally caffeinated and delicious. The name Yerba Madre, meaning ‘Mother Herb,’ is a tribute to Mother Earth and the ancestral wisdom of the Indigenous communities who have cultivated yerba mate for generations. Yerba Madre is a founding B-Corp member and proudly the first yerba mate to be Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC).
