Sign Shop

NYC DOT’s Sign Shop creates the street signs installed throughout the five boroughs of New York City. These signs serve a variety of purposes, including curbside parking regulations, intersection control signs, guide signs, and street names signs.

Limited Sign Releases

Be on the lookout every month for our limited sign releases for a chance to purchase an NYC DOT sign commemorating a special event, or even a custom never released sign!

All limited signs are made at our Sign Shop by the staff that are responsible for creating the signs you see throughout our city every day.

Limited signs are available via the NYC City Store in limited quantities and for a limited time.
