Training and Workshops
- Residential property owners, managers and maintenance staff can request training and technical assistance on safely controlling and removing indoor allergen hazards in tenant homes by emailing nychnp@health.nyc.gov or calling 311.
- Health care providers and community health workers can request training on how to refer patients with diagnosed and pests or mold in the home for a free home assessment by emailing nychnp@health.nyc.gov.
- Residential property owners, managers, maintenance staff, and tenants can register to take free virtual classes offered by HPD, including but not limited to lead paint, pest control, and tenants’ rights. Visit Housing Information Classes for more information and to register.
- Pest management professionals can register for a Rodent Academy course.
- Register for the Lead Safe Work Practices Training for Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP).
- Parents and community members can attend free Healthy Homes Community Workshops.
