NYC DOT Removes HOV3+ Restrictions at East River Crossings as Transit Repairs Progress

HOV Restrictions also rescinded on MTA and Port Authority bridges and tunnels

Alternate Side Parking suspended on Saturday

New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) today announced that the high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) access restrictions to vehicles with fewer than three people will be rescinded on the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge and Ed Koch-Queensboro Bridge, effective Friday, Nov. 2. at 5 p.m. as repairs to the city's transit system continue. Additional changes and updates to the transportation response will be issued as necessary. In conjunction with the Department of Sanitation, DOT also announced that Alternate Side Parking regulations will be suspended on Saturday Nov. 3. All other parking regulations remain in effect.
