NYC DOT Releases Official 2006 Alternate Side Parking (ASP) Suspension Calendar

The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) today announced the release of the 2006 Alternate Side Parking (ASP) Rules Suspension Calendar.

The Calendar is a free service designed to inform the public of days when Alternate Side Parking (ASP) will be suspended for holiday and religious observances, as well as days when Major Legal Holiday rules are in effect. On the six major legal holidays, parking meters are NOT in effect.

There are various ways to obtain a copy of the ASP Calendar. By dialing 311 members of the public can request delivery of the 2006 Alternate Side Parking Calendar by the US Postal Service or by Email. The calendar is also available on the DOT’s Web site at nyc.gov/dot. For Hearing Impaired, dial the TTY number (212) 504-4115.
