The New York City Department of Transportation announced today the conversion of traffic on Leggett Avenue between Bruckner Boulevard and Southern Boulevard from two-way operation to one-way operation westbound. This conversion will take place weather permitting on Tuesday, June 7, 2005.

Recently, the DOT Traffic Planning Unit determined that Leggett Avenue between Bruckner Boulevard and Southern Boulevard would better serve the community as a one-way westbound operation.
