The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) in conjunction with the Department of Sanitation (DOS) announced today that as of 5pm the Snow Emergency will no longer be in effect.

In addition, as a result of the storm, the suspension of alternate side of the street parking has been extended through Saturday January 29, 2004. However, parking meters will remain in effect throughout the City.
