Housing and Land Use

The Housing and Land Use Committee routinely considers land use, zoning, and development actions before the Community Board that require public review. Any matter subject to the provisions of the city’s Uniform Land Use Review Procedures (ULURP), special permits, and variance applications are referred to the committee for review. The committee also meets with agencies, organizations, and other entities on matters that relate to housing, such as Landmarks applications.

 
Meets: the last Tuesday of the month at 6pm. Please check the board's calendar or contact the district office to confirm the next committee meeting date and time. As of September 2023, the Economic Development and Housing and Land Use Committees meet jointly.
