Calendar

Community Board 4's calendar includes the monthly full board and various committee meetings. While the board is on recess during July and August, some committees may choose to meet. All meetings are currently hybrid (in-person and via Zoom). Committee meetings are held at the board's District Office (1420 Bushwick Avenue, Rm. 370) and full board meetings (public hearing and regular meetings) are held in the Hope Gardens Older Adult Center (195 Linden Street). Registration is required to attend virtually. For more information, please contact the board's office.

July 2026 Notice

The District Office is closed for the observance of Independence Day (July 3rd) and the Board is on recess during July and August, although some committees may choose to meet. The office is open year-round during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, unless otherwise announced.

All board meetings will be hybrid (in-person and Zoom) for the 2026 to 2027 meeting year. As per the Open Meetings Law (OML), board members may participate virtually if they inform the District Office of an extraordinary circumstance (i.e. mobility impairment, weakened immune system, caretaker of older parents, etc.). Otherwise, board members are required by the OML to attend in person.
