NeON Sports

NeON Sports offers a variety of free athletic programs, including swimming, basketball, boxing, tennis, horseback riding, yoga, and more to young New Yorkers, including those on probation. Available at seven locations across the city, NeON Sports helps participants build confidence, enhance social skills, and improve academic motivation while teaching the value of goal-setting and consistent practice.

NeON Sports relies on a network of partners—individuals and organizations—committed to promoting public safety and supporting the success of people on probation by providing accessible sports activities in their local neighborhoods.

NeON Chess

Who Can Join: Open to community members, including those on Probation.

• Description: Participants have the chance to play and challenge each other, as well as engage in friendly matches with Probation Officers (P.O.s), Senior Probation Officers (SPOs), and Managers
