In partnership with NeON the Made in New York Animation Project (TAP), is providing 125 New Yorkers (ages 15-24) with career readiness programming in animation. Each participant receives 12 hours per week of incentivized sessions with the goals of career connected learning, networking, building coping skills, and youth engagement. Opportunities include food handler certification, financial literacy training, neighborhood event staffing, job club, working with local businesses and non-profits, multimedia production, and more. NeON Chess is currently available at the South Bronx NeON. It is open to community members as well as those on Probation. Every Thursday from 4 – 5:30pm participants will be able to challenge each other as well as P.O.’s SPO’s and Managers. NeON Arts provides free art programs to young people throughout New York City, including those on probation.
NeON Scholars
NeON Scholars provides free tutoring and Regents test prep to high school-aged young people across NYC. Members receive individualized academic support and earn prizes for academic achievement and scholarly engagement.

A paid opportunity offered through the Neighborhood Opportunity Network that prepares participants to work as photographers.

Offers gently used business attire, casual clothes, shoes and accessories in five NeON Clothing Closets throughout the five boroughs.
NeON Cooks
NeON Cooks brings together community members of all ages to learn new cooking skills and nutritional information, build community with one another, and break bread over the shared meals that they create and enjoy as as a group.
