Interagency MOUs

Local Law 40 of 2011 requires City Agencies to post certain memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and similar agreements entered into among governmental agencies. The Department's MOUs and similar agreements are listed below:

  • June 2, 2016 Re: DOHMH maintenance of cooling tower registrations, notifications of discontinuance of use.

  • February 27, 2014 Re: Expansion of Selected DOB violations to be adjudicated by Mail, Internet or Telephone

  • January 5, 2012 Re: Filing, review, and fee payment for fire suppression plans related to new and altered commercial cooking systems

  • March 8, 2011 Re: Creates a call center to assist building owners with a program designed to Benchmark their energy and water use pursuant to the requirements of Local Law 84 of 2009

  • April 15, 2011 Re: Addendum to the March 8, 2011 MOU. Student participants must now tell all callers that they are not New York City employees

  • August 25, 2010 Re: DOB will work with a CUNY hired solar ombudsman to improve solar permitting in furtherance of a grant to the City by the Department of Energy
