This is a national program touching the lives of 4 million+ children and families nationwide, with a special focus on low-income communities. Volunteer readers engage children from ages 6 months to 12 years old in a positive reading experience and in addition, model storytelling behavior for parents. Get excited about books-it's fun! Come join us for story time and show parents just how fun reading can be. CIH is looking for volunteer readers in all languages, but most especially Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Spanish and Chinese.
