How to Become a Voluntary Community Service Provider in Detention

The New York City Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) welcomes linkages with community based service providers who are able to provide appropriate youth related services to residents in detention. Providers who are interested in offering their free services should submit a written request to -

The Director Programs Services will meet with interested organizations to determine how to best match their services with the structure of DJJ and explain the process of clearing the organization to work in detention.
