The Center for Health, Environment, and Food Service (CHEFS) is NYC’s first collaborative hub dedicated to transforming institutional food service. Led by the Mayor’s Office of Food Policy (MOFP) and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (Health Department), CHEFS connects health, environmental sustainability, labor, and technology to strengthen food systems across food service settings.
