Today's seniors have been successful administrators, public servants, authors and industrialists who relish the way of life they have made for themselves. They are our mothers, fathers, grandparents, great aunts and uncles. They should not lose their hard-won lifestyle merely because of frailty or memory impairment. It is important to provide significant experiences that encourage recollection, and we provide other care, such as aromatherapy and music therapy to bring balance to fragile nervous systems.

DSSM recognizes the need for Alzheimer's/Dementia Services, and our tranquil community has a Special Care Unit designed to meet those needs.
