Pay Penalty Online

You may wish to pay the penalty for the summons if:

• You are not able or do not want to participate in a hearing; or
• The OATH Hearing Officer rules that you were in violation of the charges cited by the enforcement agency on your Summons.

There are several ways to pay. You will need the number from your Summons in order to pay the fine. The payment method is determined by the type of summons you received. In order to pay the penalty you will need the number from your summons.

Restaurant, Day Care Center, Lead Paint Cases

You may pay your summons online using a credit card or debit card. You will need
your summons number, and a service fee will be added if you choose to pay online.

Vehicle for Hire Cases

All payments must be made to TLC directly. Under TLC rules:

• You must pay the fine within 30 days of the date of the decision.
• If you fail to pay the fine on time, TLC will place your license on suspension.

Contact TLC for information regarding other possible penalties, such as:

• Points incurred on your license
• Revocation of your license.

Consumer Cases

All payments must be made to the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection directly. Please visit the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection website for information on how to pay.

All other Cases

You may pay your summons online using a credit card, debit card, or electronic check. You will need your summons number and a service fee will be added if you choose to pay online.
