About Jeanine Ramirez

Jeanine Ramirez is an award-winning journalist and media consultant. She provided news coverage as an anchor and reporter in New York City for more than two decades. After television jobs at WPIX-TV and KWES-TV, Ramirez spent much of her career at NY1 News. She covered the aftermath of September 11th, the devastation caused by Superstorm Sandy, the controversial construction of Barclays Center and the renaissance of Coney Island. She was a weekend anchor and the lead reporter on many Brooklyn-based and Latino issues. Ramirez traveled to the Caribbean to file a special series of reports from Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
