You can reach the Health Department by submitting a public health report on 311 Online. You can check the status of an existing complaint or submit a non-emergency complaint through 311 Online or the 311 Mobile App. You can file non-emergency complaints for:
- Child care or camp complaints
- Indoor air quality complaints
- Restaurant, food poisoning, or mobile food vendor complaints
- Rodent or mouse complaints
- Smoking complaints
- Standing water complaints (April 1 to October 31 only)

Media, Speaker, and Records Requests

Service of Process: The Health Department is accepting service of process in-person at Gotham Center, 42-09 28th Street - CN31, Long Island City. The email address for service is OGCServiceEF@health.nyc.gov. Service of process on individuals should continue to proceed in the manner required by applicable law.
