  • Note: On July 8, 2020, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.49 discontinuing the temporary suspension originally authorized by Executive Order 202.15, of the Not for Profit Corp Law 1517, 19 NYCRR 203.3, 203.6, 203.13, and 10 NYCRR 77.7(a)(1) and 77.7(a)(4) which allowed deputized agents of a funeral director to supervise removal, transfer and delivery of a body to a cemetery or crematorium. Therefore, the Health Code provisions of Articles 205 and 207 suspended/modified by this Order to allow deputized agents of a funeral director to supervise removal, transfer and delivery of a body to a cemetery or crematorium are hereby discontinued.
