File a Claim for Rocket Tax Restitution

In a settlement with the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP), Rocket Tax has agreed to refund money to eligible consumers.

You may be eligible for compensation if:

  • You were a customer at Rocket Tax between December 1, 2023 to May 1, 2025

AND

  • Rocket Tax failed to disclose their fees to you.

To file a claim, submit the completed form and supporting documents to DCWP by mail or email.

OR

DCWP will review and process claims in the order it receives them. DCWP will pay compensation until no money remains in the Settlement Fund or the submission deadline, whichever comes first. The deadline to submit a claim is October 29, 2026.
