Information about the General Vendor Waiting List

Local Law 54 of 2026

Local Law 54 of 2026 increases the number of available General Vendor licenses. These licenses will be available after January 15, 2027. For more information, visit nyc.gov/StreetVending

Waiting List Period

The period to apply to be included on the waiting list to apply for a General Vendor license ended on November 15, 2016. Upon the close of the application period, DCWP assigned each accepted application a priority number (i.e., position) based on a computer-generated random number selection program. DCWP notified applicants in writing of their waiting list number.

Change of Address and Contact Information Form

If your contact address changes after you submit your application to be included on the waiting list, you must notify DCWP in writing or risk losing the opportunity to apply for a General Vendor license. Download and complete the Change of Address and Contact Information Form
