New York City Administrative Code § 8-502: Civil action by persons aggrieved by unlawful discriminatory practices

Pursuant to §8-502(c) of the New York City Administrative Code, plaintiffs are required to serve a copy of complaints in actions commenced in whole or in part asserting unlawful discriminatory practices or acts of discriminatory harassment/violence upon the New York City Commission on Human Rights and the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York within ten days after having commenced a civil action.
