Project Guidelines Owner's Checklists

Project Checklists contain a list of questions/tasks to help Owners, who are responsible for hiring professionals to provide compliance with the Construction Codes and other regulations discussed in the Project Guidelines.

The Department has grouped the Checklists by project application. The categories are as follows:

The design team for the project should be hired and assembled by the Owner prior to beginning any construction. If an Owner is unfamiliar with construction regulations, he/she should consult a Registered Design Professional or reference the NYC Construction Codes and other regulations referenced in this guide for more information.
