Submit Your Application

Submitting your application to host a short-term rental in New York City is easy. Here are the steps you will need to take: 

1. Visit nyc.gov/str and log in or create an account 
2. Answer questions about you and your home 
3. Upload documents 
   • ID 
   • 2 proofs of address 
   • lease (if applicable) 
4. Pay application fee of $145, plus processing fees 
5. Read and accept terms and conditions 
6. Get a response in as few as 3 business days 
7. Make corrections (if needed)
