Zoning for Coastal Flood Resiliency - Environmental Impact Statement

On March 5, 2021, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a  PDF Document Notice of Completion for a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed Zoning for Coastal Flood Resiliency Text Amendment.

A public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) was held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 10:00 am in conjunction with the City Planning Commission’s public hearing pursuant to ULURP. In support of the City’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, DCP held the public scoping meeting remotely. Written comments on the DEIS were requested, received, and considered by the Lead Agency through Tuesday, February 16, 2021. The FEIS incorporates responses to the public comments received on the DEIS and updated analysis conducted subsequent to the completion of the DEIS.
