The NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) is authorized to collect, retain and disclose identifying information to perform its duties under the City Charter. The Identifying Information Law (Admin. Code ยงยง 23-1201 through 23-1205) sets forth requirements for city agencies to follow. If you believe that OCME or one of its contractors has collected, retained or disclosed identifying information in violation of the Identifying Information Law, you may fill out and submit this form.
Complaints will be sent to the OCME's privacy officer and will only be used to investigate this complaint. To investigate and resolve the complaints, OCME may share complaint information with other city agencies.
