Disciplinary Matrix Deviations
Section 14-186 of the New York City Administrative Code mandates annual reporting of the number and percentage of instances within the preceding calendar year in which the Police Commissioner imposed a disciplinary penalty that is different from the Department’s Disciplinary System Penalty Guidelines (i.e., “disciplinary matrix”).
