EPT 2017-2020 Report Response

Pursuant to Local Law 47 of 2021, the NYPD engaged an external consultant to review a sample of investigations performed by the Department’s Equal Employment Opportunity Division between October 1, 2017, and October 31, 2020. That consultant, EPT, previously issued its report and made several recommendations to the Department. In accordance with Local Law 47 of 2021, the Department is required to publish a written statement on the actions the Department has taken or plans to take in response to the report’s findings and recommendations.
