TBuilt in 1961, Manhattanville Houses is a 12-acre campus of six 20-story buildings in West Harlem. The development consists of 1,272 apartments that house over 2,600 residents, and features an on-site daycare facility, community center, and senior center. The Manhattanville PACT partner team is led by Gilbane Development Company; Apex Building Group, a Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE); and West Harlem Group Assistance, a non-profit organization. Gilbane and Apex will also serve as the general contractors; and ELH Management will be the property manager.

As of December 12, 2024, your development is now part of the Project-Based Section 8 program and has converted through the NYCHA Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program. This means that your homes and community spaces will receive much-needed renovations and you will have access to employment opportunities created by PACT and enhanced on-site social services. Learn more about PACT by visiting NYCHA’s PACT webpage.
