Kathleen-Corradi
As SVP of RSPI, Kathy will oversee the transformation and institutionalization of an updated resident engagement approach and lead a team of 200 staff across multiple units. She will execute a new vision and operating model for RSPI focused on connecting residents to economic opportunity, strengthening resident associations, engaging with residents and partners on issues regarding NYCHA’s operations, and community programs to foster more connected and vibrant public housing communities.
Kathy brings more than a decade of New York City government experience in citywide operational leadership, partnership building, and community engagement. Most recently, she served as New York City’s first-ever Citywide Director of Rodent Mitigation (Rat Czar), where she led a groundbreaking multi-agency strategy that has become a national model for urban pest management — reducing 311 complaints while dramatically increasing community participation in prevention efforts. Prior to that, she directed space management for NYC Public Schools, where she oversaw $500 million in capital development and restructured building utilization to better serve students and communities. She also directed the nation’s largest zero-waste program across 550 schools and 350,000 students. Earlier in her career, she developed experiential learning initiatives at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Kathy holds an M.S. in urban sustainability from City College of New York and a B.S. in biology from Eckerd College.
