2023 Steering Committee Elections

The NYC Continuum of Care (NYC CoC) is now accepting applications for 9 of the 17 seats of the NYC CoC Steering Committee. Terms are for two years and will begin on January 1, 2024. Please note that applicants may only apply for one seat category.


The 9 available seats of the NYC CoC Steering Committee include:

  • One (1) At-Large member
  • Two (2) Coalition representatives
  • Two (2) Government representatives
  • Two (2) Persons with Lived Experience
    • One (1) General member
    • One (1) Youth member
  • Two (2) Non-profit organizations

2023 Election Timeline

October 4th

Steering Committee application opens

October 25th

Steering Committee applications closes EOD.

Week of October 30th

Election Eligibility Workgroup reviews applications and determines eligibility

November 3rd

Candidates are informed if they will appear on the ballot.

Week of November 13th

Presentation of Candidates + Electronic ballots distributed for voting

November 30th

Electronic ballots close

December 4th

Election results announced

January 1st (2024)
