Made in NY Marketing Credit

This program offers qualified film and television productions with free co-branded advertising opportunities in the #1 media market in the country. "Made in NY" productions are projects where at least 75% of the film was produced in New York City.

NYC Women's Fund for Media, Music and Theatre

Our groundbreaking $7.5 million program provides funds to complete projects by, for, or about all who identify as women. The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) is administering the fund.

NYC Film Green

As the first sustainability program for the film and television industry in the United States administered by a government agency, NYC Film Green is a voluntary program that enables productions engaging in environmentally-conscious practices to apply for and receive recognition for their efforts.

New York City Public School Film Festival

The New York City Public School Film Festival was created to provide an opportunity for students to have their work recognized and consider careers in filmmaking.

Career Development

Made in NY Production Assistant Training Program

Developed in partnership with Brooklyn Workforce Innovations, this program provides individuals from diverse communities with training for entry-level positions in film production and access to employers in New York City's production industry.

Made in NY Post Production Training

This free, five-week program trains participants to use industry-standard software, preparing them for work in New York's many post facilities. We partner with the NYC Department of Small Business Services and Brooklyn Workforce Innovations to deliver the program at no cost to participants.

Made in NY Animation Project

The program offers NYC youth, ages 12-24, the opportunity to engage in storytelling, gain technical skills in 3D computer animation, and qualify for paid internships in the lab and in the field. Classes are taught at NeONSM Centers and schools by The Animation Project.


The program prepares talented undergraduate CUNY students and alumni of Reel Works for careers in the City’s thriving television, film production, animation and advertising industries by providing work readiness training, employer-recognized credentials, and placement assistance for sequential-paid media internships.

Made in NY Career Panels

The "Made in NY" Talks Series presents a variety of free programs exploring multiple topics within the media and entertainment industry. Programs focus on film, television, theater and digital media and support the goals of career development, networking, training and recruitment.

Made in NY Discount Card

We are proud to offer the "Made in NY" Discount card as an incentive for filming in New York City. Available to bona fide productions, the card provides discounts and special offers when presented to the more than 1,000 vendors currently participating.

Experienced PAs for Hire

The "Made in NY" PA Training Program produces graduates who are pre-screened, trained, and experienced. Our partner Brooklyn Workforce Innovations can arrange interviews or direct placements, several weeks in advance or at a moment's notice. This is a free service offered to productions shooting in NYC and surrounding areas.

NY State Film Tax Credits

The New York State Film Production Tax Credit program provides qualifying film and television productions a 30% credit for qualified production expenditures. All eligible productions shot in New York City may qualify for this program. Legislation extended the program through 2019, allocating $420 million per year.

NYS Film & Television Diverse Suppliers Directory

The Directory, which includes both vendors who have previously worked with the film and television industry and those who want to work with the industry, helps film and television productions find diverse vendors throughout New York State.

"Movies Under the Stars" Outdoor Film Series

MOME partners with the City's Parks Department to present hundreds of outdoor film screenings in public parks in all five boroughs, including many that have never hosted movie nights before.
