Kim L. Yu
Director and City Chief Procurement Officer
Kim L. Yu is the City Chief Procurement Officer and New York City Mayor’s Office of Contract Services (MOCS) Director. Appointed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani in January 2026, she leads efforts to modernize procurement systems, increase transparency, and foster more equitable contracting across all city agencies.
Kim began her legal career as a law clerk and legal fellow in the Superior Courts of Massachusetts and New Jersey. She holds a J.D. from the New England School of Law and a B.A. from St. John’s University.
