Brooklyn Bridge – Montgomery Coastal Resilience

Community Engagement

We are working around the clock to be a good neighbor

We understand that construction may be disruptive to residential communities and businesses. New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC) has implemented a community engagement program for the Brooklyn Bridge-Montgomery Coastal Resilience (BMCR) project that includes an updated website, a community construction liaison (CCL), and in-person community outreach.

The BMCR project team provides regular construction updates at Community Board 3 Parks, Recreation, Waterfront, & Resiliency Committee. While you’re waiting for the next meeting, please reach out to our community construction liaison through the BMCR Inquiry Tool or other methods of contact listed below. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Upcoming Meetings and Events

The East Side Coastal Resiliency project team provides updates at Manhattan Community Board 3's Parks, Recreation, Waterfront & Resiliency Committee meetings. Visit Community Board 3’s calendar for meeting dates/times and agenda items.

Community Construction Liaisons

Community Construction Liaisons (CCLs) work on behalf of DDC as the point of contact for stakeholders and the local community. They are responsible for communicating construction impacts to the local community and resolving any construction-related issues.
