ESCR to YOUR School

The New York City Department of Design and Construction’s ESCR team is partnering with local schools to spread awareness about the ESCR project.  “ESCR to YOUR School” is a special interactive presentation tailored to students, explaining the project’s history, design, construction techniques, as well as resiliency and climate change, the importance of flood mitigation projects and career opportunities which the students can one day aspire to be part of. Last school year, we worked with two local schools and this year we’re hoping to expand the program to reach more classrooms.
