Community Recycling Events
DSNY holds recycling events in every community board district in New York City. These free events provide New Yorkers a convenient opportunity to recycle items that are not collected curbside. These events are for NYC residents ONLY, not businesses. Commercial vehicles are NOT allowed.
Community E-Waste Events
It is illegal for New Yorkers to dispose of certain electronic devices with trash or recycling.
We hold e-waste collection events throughout the year in different Community Boards across the city. These neighborhood events are a convenient way for NYC residents to get rid of their e-waste.
