Pharmacies

New York City has over 2,600 pharmacies, each of which plays an essential role in planning and responding to a citywide public health emergency. The NYC Department of Health partners with pharmacies to prepare for emergencies and help pharmacies stay open during and after a citywide public health emergency.

Public Health Emergency Response Network Pharmacy Program

The Public Health Emergency Response Network Pharmacy Program is an easy-to-use application that allows NYC pharmacies to provide the Health Department with their contact and service information. This information will help the City better communicate with pharmacies during emergencies to ensure the public has access to critical medications.
