NYC Vision Zero Fleet Safety Forum 2024

DCAS and Together for Safer Roads (TSR) hosted the 2024 Vision Zero Fleet Safety Forum on Wednesday, October 30 at the Queens Theatre in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Please see the event flyer and program. The event brought together leading stakeholders from public and private fleets, innovative safety technology companies, policy experts, and road safety advocates for an exciting day of speeches, panel discussions, and breakout sessions.

NYC Fleet Show (Equipment and Vehicle Show)

DCAS and NYC Parks will host the 2025 NYC Fleet Show on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Unisphere at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, New York. The show includes vendors in all sectors of fleet displaying vehicles, equipment, products, and services. The show is free and open to the public. Registration will be posted here when it becomes available.

Impulsion Conference in Montreal

DCAS Fleet participated as a partner organization at the 2023 Impulsion conference Montreal, Canada from March 13 to 15 at Palais des congrès de Montréal. The event focused on sustainable transportation, reducing our carbon footprint, and electrification. DCAS Deputy Commissioner and NYC Chief Fleet Officer Keith Kerman presented as part of a panel on building out electric vehicle infrastructure. DCAS partnered with the government of Quebec on previous editions of this event starting in June 2019.

Fleet Vision International – The Show

The 2023 Fleet Vision International – The Show was held on April 27, 2023 at Guildhall in the City of London. This forum is based on a seven years long partnership between the City of London and the City of New York focusing on the exchange of best practices in regard to electrification and the use of biofuels in the transportation sector, air quality, driver retention and training, and road safety. This year’s forum included a gala dinner including awards for best air quality strategy, best fleet management strategy, and fleet personality of the year.

  • Empire Clean Vehicle Festival

    NYC fleet vehicles participate each year in the annual Clean Vehicle Festival sponsored by Empire Clean Cities in Union Square Park. The 2023 event is October 5, 2023. For more information on this event and other ECC events, please visit the ECC webpage.


  • Fleets of the Future Network and Global Vision Zero Efforts

    While the annual Fleet Show and Vision Zero Forum were on hiatus for the pandemic, DCAS launched the “Fleets of the Future” network to communicate with interested fleets about safety and sustainability best practices. DCAS worked with our global partners at Together for Safer Roads on a “Global Vision Zero Safety Forum”, which took place on May 19, 2021.
