Look Closer: Immigrants are New York City

Immigrant New Yorkers are a critical part of the fabric of New York City. In June 2026, the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) created a poster to celebrate immigrant workers, to raise awareness about the contribution that immigrant workers bring to NYC, their rights in the workplace, and that DCWP is here to help.

Community Partners: Use our digital toolkit to show solidarity with working New Yorkers and remind them that they have rights at work regardless of immigration status.
