On July 24, 2023, DCWP launched a new system to replace its prior online services and provide additional features for businesses, consumers, and workers. Note: If you had an online account with DCWP before July 24, 2023, please use the same email address you provided DCWP. This will allow you to link your business records to the new system. FAQs: DCWP Online Services

Do I need to Create Account to submit online requests?

Businesses that Create Account using DCWP online services can:

  • Apply for new licenses
  • Renew licenses
  • Follow the status of applications
  • Review and update license information
  • View past inspections
  • Schedule certain scale and fuel inspections
  • View settlement offers
  • View Collections records
  • View payment plans
  • Pay fines and fees
  • View complaints submitted against your business

Consumers and Workers do not need to Create Account to submit a complaint. However, consumers who Create Account using DCWP online services will be able to more easily save, update, and track complaints.

Reminder: You do not need to Create Account to check if a business or individual has a DCWP Licensee.


What happened to my previous DCA/DCWP online account?
If you had an online account with DCWP before July 24, 2023, please use the same email address you provided DCWP. This will allow you to link your business records to the new system.

  1. Create Account.
  2. When you are logged in, you will see a Business Dashboard with your business records, including all license records, submitted and draft application forms, pending fees, and other records related to your business.

If you do not have an online account with DCWP, you can create account and link your business using a PIN.

  1. Create Account.
  2. On your Dashboard, select the "Services tab."
  3. Select "Link Business to My Account."
  4. Enter PIN found on your Renewal License Application or on the Acknowledgement of Application printout from the DCWP Licensing Center or NYC Small Business Support Center. Note: If you do not have a PIN, Request PIN.
  5. Click "Link Business."
  6. Confirm your Business Name and Address.
  7. Return to your Business Dashboard to view linked business records, including applicable license records, submitted and draft application forms, pending fees, and other records related to your business.

What is a PIN?
A PIN is a Personal Identification Number that will allow you to link your business records to DCWP online services. Note: PINs are system-generated. You cannot change your PIN.


How do I get a PIN?
Refer to your Renewal License Application or on the Acknowledgement of Application printout from the DCWP Licensing Center or NYC Small Business Support Center. If you do not have a PIN, you can Request PIN.
