Access electronic Registration Renewal Form and enter SIA# and the email address from existing registration. Do not use SIA1 pdf form for renewing registration.
Complete, submit and print the SIA1 Application and SIA cover sheet. Supply the following information on the printed SIA1 Application:
Pay with check or money order. Complete check/money order for the amount indicated on the SIA cover sheet. Make the check/money order payable to the NYC Department of Buildings.
Gather the required supporting documents. Review the guidelines for preparing and submitting SIA supporting documents. Incomplete, incorrect and missing documents will delay the processing of the SIA1 application.
