Workforce Institute

The Workforce Institute (WI) delivers training to direct service staff and supervisors at ACS and its provider agencies. WI programs support continuous learning and prepare staff to build on family strengths while meeting each child’s unique needs.

Established in 2015, WI’s high-quality trainings and coaching connect best case practice to positive outcomes in child welfare and youth justice. Its learning programs prepare staff to deliver services that help keep children safe and support families to thrive.

Equity is at the center of all WI programs, with a focus on challenges faced by individuals or groups that are vulnerable or marginalized in our society. This work is ongoing, and WI is continuously striving to improve and grow with integrity and accountability.
