NYC Children Case Manager Recruitment & Hiring EventShape Futures. Support NYC Youth.The NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is hosting a Hiring Event in collaboration with NYC SBS. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Division of Youth and Family Justice (DYFJ) as full-time Case Managers to serve at either Crossroads or Horizon Juvenile Detention Facility.The Case Managers manage the daily legal, educational, and medical compliance of youth while in secure custody, ensuring safety and care protocols are met while aggressively planning for stable, legal discharge and community re-entry.At this event, you can meet with division leadership, learn about our juvenile justice and youth development initiatives, and potentially secure a conditional offer of employment.

Preferred Skills & Competencies
Case Manager Preferred Qualifications· Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians, educators, security staff, and community service providers, to support positive youth outcomes.· Experience developing individualized service plans, monitoring progress, and coordinating referrals to internal and external support services.· Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, adolescent development, crisis intervention, positive youth development principles, and evidence-based approaches for working with justice-involved youth.· Experience coordinating with courts, legal representatives, and community-based service providers, and knowledge of the juvenile justice system.· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet established deadlines, prepare clear and accurate documentation and reports, maintain confidential records, and effectively utilize computerized case management systems.· Bilingual proficiency preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively with youth and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
