Gouverneur is dedicated to ensuring that all New Yorkers have access to high quality care regardless of ability to pay or immigration status. Gouverneur's Ambulatory Care Center provides affordable and comprehensive healthcare services at convenient sites throughout the Lower East Side.

Our 210-bed Nursing Facility provides 24-hour care for individuals in need of short-or long-term care, offering skilled nursing and rehabilitation care.

Community outreach is the core of keeping our community healthy. Our multi-lingual team works with community organizations to promote public health initiatives. Through these initiatives Gouverneur has been successful in gaining coverage for the uninsured in Medicaid and other insurance programs, screening for diabetes, Hepatitis B and HIV, and spearheading smoking cessation programs in Chinatown. Gouverneur's mobile medical and mobile dental vans bring services into the community and to those who have the greatest difficulty accessing services.

Gouverneur is building for the future and has begun construction on a completely modernized, truly premiere healthcare facility for Lower Manhattan.
