Every year, some 800 of CUNY’s 9,000 disabled students cannot attend school full time because of their disabilities and require more financial aid to complete their degrees.
The Matthew Goldstein Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities provides crucial financial support to them. By providing tuition waivers, the Matthew Goldstein Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities addresses a gap in the New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).

The USS Donald and Mary Ellen Passantino’s Students with Disabilities scholarship recognizes students with disabilities who have demonstrated outstanding scholarship and enthusiastic leadership and service under extraordinary circumstances. Two students per campus, per academic year are awarded the scholarship.
