Locations
You can now get an IDNYC card without an appointment at certain locations. Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis at these locations on these days:
- Brooklyn Public Library (10 Grand Army Plaza) - Tuesdays
- Bronx Monterey - Wednesdays
- Manhattan Union Square - Thursdays
- Queens Public Library at Central (89-11 Merrick Boulevard) - Fridays
All other locations still require an appointment. New appointments are available every Friday for the following week (Monday to Friday).
Appointments are released each week on Friday, for the following Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment, click here or call 311 to make an appointment. Do not book more than one appointment per person. If you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment, please cancel, and reschedule for a later date or time.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
In observance of Thanksgiving Day all Enrollment Centers will be closed on Thursday November 27, 2025
Applicants with appointments are given a 15-minute grace period on their appointment time, based on the Enrollment Center capacity.
