The FDNY to Add 36 Names to Memorial Wall for Deaths Related to World Trade Center Illnesses

The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) will add the names of 36 members who died of illnesses related to their work in the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center to the FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Wall. The outdoor ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 2, at 4 p.m. at FDNY Headquarters – 9 MetroTech Center in Brooklyn. The ceremony can be viewed live on the Department’s website at www.nyc.gov/FDNY or HERE.
