E-28 Fire Producer

About

A Certificate of Fitness is required fire producer to coordinate fire performances. These performances include fire breathing, fire eating, fire sticks juggling, poi, fans and many other forms of fire manipulation.

This Certificate of Fitness is valid only for the person who applied for it and can be used anywhere within New York City.

• Application Reviewed Within: 1-2 days
• Renewal Cycle: 1 Year

Before You Submit Your Application

You must pass a written exam to get an E-28 Certificate of Fitness. All applicants should review the Notice of Exam and Study Materials.

Applicants who need to take the exam must make an appointment and bring the following documents.

• Must also bring two notarized letters from two FDNY E-27 C of F holders attesting your experience.
